Do you deliver and set-up?
Yes! We deliver the moonwalk(s) and set-up the moonwalk(s) for you. We will call you prior to our delivery to let you know we are on our way and to recheck the address and directions to the location. We will need about half hour to 45 min. to set-up. We offer FREE delivery of inflatables to our customers within 15 miles of our location. Delivery fees for all other equipment may apply when inflatables are not rented. There is a charge for delivery outside of that area.
What kind of power and/or special equipment is required?
Each moonwalk blower runs off of a regular 110V, 20 amp circuits’ outlet. The blower/fan plugs into a standard electrical outlet. Power must be within 100 feet of the blower/fan.
What if there is no power?
You will have to rent a generator for an extra charge.
How expensive is it to have the blower running constantly all day?
To operate a blower is less than a dollar ($1.00) per day.
What kind of surface can the moonwalk be placed on?
Moonwalk(s) can be placed on level grass & pavement. Grass is the preferred outdoor set-up location for the safety of the users. We will not set-up on plain dirt or sand.
My yard slopes a bit. Will this be a problem?
A slight slope is not a problem. If the area slopes more than a little, we need an alternate location. Safety is the most important. Please have an alternate location in mind if the first place is slope to much.
Will the Moonwalk(s) harm my lawn?
We can not guarantee that the moonwalk(s) will not have an affect on your lawn. Due to the weight of the moonwalk(s) and depending on the length of time the moonwalk(s) is in use, flattened grass is common but not permanent. During the heat of the summer, it is not uncommon to see burned blades of grass a few days after the moonwalk(s) has been removed. The grass typically recovers within a week or so. We will use a tarp that will protect the grass from permanent damage due to the shifting motion of the moonwalk(s).
Can they be set-up indoors?
Yes! Moonwalks can be set-up indoors providing there is enough ceiling clearance. 15 to 25 feet vertical clearance is needed for the differ kinds of moonwalks. Gyms, auditoriums and other large halls are perfect. Sandbags will be use to anchored the moonwalk(s) and should never be removed by anyone except GBAIX MOONWALKS employees.
Can they be set-up in parks?
You will have to check with the cities Park and Recreation Department for their regulations. Some locations may also require you to take out “Additional Insured” & give them a copy of the document for the date/time of your event.
How do I reserve or make reservations?
We take reservation on a first come first serve basis. To ensure availability, we suggest you reserve two weeks prior to your event. To reserve your moonwalk(s) call 281-996-7030 or 281-795-1271. We will email you a contract for you to look over and for you to sign. Return it to us along with your $50 down payment (or 50% down payment if your rental totals more than $500) to hold your date. (Check, Credit Card or Money Order) to: GBAIX MOONWALKS. The remaining balance will be due two days before delivery. We do accept same day reservations provided that we have the equipment available. If a moonwalk is reserved on the same day as the reservation, then payment in full buy credit card must be paid at reservation. We will not deliver the equipment until full payment is made.
What if I need to change my reservation?
Please contact us if you need to change your reservation as soon as possible. We will be glad to assist you in anyway possible. (Subject to availability)
Is there a deposit required?
We require a $50 nonrefundable deposit when the equipment is reserved. If your rental order totals more than $500, we require 50% of the total to reserve the equipment. The deposit holds your moonwalk until the day of your event. If you do not pay a deposit for advanced orders, we cannot deliver the product unless other arrangements have been agreed to by both parties.
How much room do I need?
The amount of room varies between each moonwalk. A minimum of 4 feet on all four (4) sides is required. Moonwalks must be away from all fences, pools, play sets, overhead utility lines, low hanging tree branches and any other permanent standing structures. Vertical clearance measurements are about 15 feet to 25 feet. We would be happy to discuss space requirements when you make your reservation.
What kind of supervision is necessary?
All of our moonwalks requires adult supervision (18 years and older) at all times! The prices for our equipment rentals assume that you, the customer, will provide competent adult supervision for the safety of the users. For an extra fee of $25 per hour (min. 4 hours) GBAIX Moonwalks will provide someone to supervise moonwalk(s) during your rental time.
What is your cancellation policy?
Two weeks notice for full refund. If less than two weeks. There will be no refund but you may reschedule up to 360 days. (Subject to availability)
Does it get hot inside the moonwalk(s)?
The moonwalk(s) are covered for protection and have netting on all walls to allow for air circulation and visibility.
How many people can bounce at one time?
Separate groups of children according to size and/or age.
Do not exceed the recommended capacity per age as listed below:
Children under 5 6-8
Children 6-8 5-6
Children 9-13 4-5
Teens/Adult 2-3
(Not to exceed 800 lbs max)
What do I do if it starts to rain during the party?
In case of rain, remove everyone from moonwalk(s) and unplug blower(s) and extension cord from Receptacle. After deflated, cover moonwalk(s) with tarp or plastic to keep rain off the moonwalk(s) and help keep all areas dry.
What about weather?
Because the moonwalk(s) run on electricity, they cannot be set up in the rain &/or thunder/lightning storm or winds exceeding 15 mph. If it looks like a storm is coming & you wish to cancel, there is NO REFUND but you can reschedule up to 360 days from that date. Any fees paid up front will be used for a booking at a later date. But, if delivery is made and the inflatable is setup & it starts to storm, you will not receive your refund.
Can GBAIX Moonwalks & PARTY RENTAL cancel on us?
Yes! We also watch weather conditions and reserve the right to cancel a booking if the conditions are not safe. ** Generally we will cancel bookings if the chance or rain exceeds 60%. Any downpour, lightening or high winds are unsafe conditions for operation. Once the moonwalk(s) is up and operational, there are NO REFUNDS once the inflatable is set up.
Are the moonwalks clean?
Yes! All of our moonwalks are cleaned and disinfected after each and every use.
What payment terms do you accept?
We accept visa, mastercard, money order, or checks. We require $50 down at booking with the balance due at time of setup. We must have a credit card on file.
What time do you deliver and pick up the moonwalk(s).
We drop off between 7 am and 12 pm depending on where you fall on the route and pick up 5pm and 8pm. On occassion we may have to pick up as late as 11 pm. Please be assured that you are not paying for our set-up or take-down time but for your actual hours of bounce time. Any moonwalk reservation that extends past 8pm will require payment of an overnight fee.
Do I have to be home when you pick up?
Generally no. If setup is at a public location, we do ask that some one stays around to prevent theft or damage to the equipment. For residential setups, the crew will go directly to the setup location and begin breaking down the equipment. If you require advanced notice of pickup in the form of a phone call, or if you want the crew to knock on the door before proceeding to the setup location, let us know at the time of the reservation so we can make a note in the system.
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours are 8 a.m. till 7 p.m. 7 days a week. In case of a Emergency we will still answer by calling 281-996-7030 or 281-795-1271 after hours. You can reserve 24 hours a day online by clicking the reservation link. You may text us 24 hours a day at 281-795-1273.
Can I pick up the equipment?
No! We offer FREE delivery to our customers within 15 miles of our location. There is a charge for delivery & pick up outside of that 15 mile area. There is a minimum order for deliveries that are more than 15 miles. All tents require a setup and delivery fee. All rentals that do not include inflatables will require a delivery fee.
